An enchanting antique Victorian moonstone bracelet showcasing seven cabochon moonstones with a ghostly blue glow that graduate in size from 2.5 to 4ct in the centre (approx. 22ct total).
The mystifying moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and said to be a path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
The stones are claw set in articulated, open-back links with jagged, chevron links at the back all crafted in a muted 15ct yellow gold. It looks fabulous wrapped around the wrist and is held by a secure box clasp and safety catch at the back.
